Product Overview
The BX53M Metallurgical Microscope is a modular upright materials microscope introduced by OLYMPUS (now Evident). It employs a UIS2 infinity-corrected optical system and is primarily used for microstructural observation and defect analysis of opaque specimens such as metals, alloys, coatings, and electronic components. Depending on application requirements, this model can be configured for reflected light, reflected/transmitted light, polarized light, and infrared observation, among other setups. It also features coding functionality that links hardware settings, including observation method, illumination intensity, and objective position, with Olympus Stream image analysis software, automatically saving them with the image for easy result reproduction and report archiving.
