Tin-copper wire and gold wire are dedicated repair wires for PCB precision circuit repair machines, used to repair broken traces, gaps, and other circuit defects on PCBs. Tin-copper wire uses oxygen-free copper as the base material with a pure tin plating on the surface, which prevents oxidation of the copper core and maintains conductivity. Before repair, the surface tin layer generally needs to be scraped off before soldering. Gold wire uses oxygen-free copper as the base material with a pure gold plating on the surface, allowing direct soldering during repair without the tin removal step, making it suitable for fine traces and high-requirement repair applications.
