Product Overview
The fully automatic CVS plating additive analyzer (cyclic voltammetric stripping analyzer) is an automated analytical instrument used for the concentration analysis of organic additives in plating baths. Its principle is cyclic voltammetric stripping (CVS): metal (such as copper) is first deposited at a constant potential on a rotating disk electrode (RDE), then stripped by reverse scanning, and the current changes during the scan are recorded to characterize the electrochemical activity of organic additives (suppressors, brighteners, levelers) in the bath, thereby converting to their concentrations. The instrument consists of a potentiostat/galvanostat, a rotating disk electrode measuring head, an automatic dosing and automatic sampling system, and analysis software. It can automatically perform sampling, dosing, measurement, calculation and reporting, and is widely used for routine bath control in PCB copper plating, tin plating, nickel plating and the electronic plating industry.
