Sampling Positioning Software

Product Introduction

Sampling Positioning Software is a positioning control software developed by our company for automatic sampling and measurement stations. The software performs visual positioning via an industrial camera and communicates in real time with Siemens S7 series PLCs, writing the set origin coordinates into the PLC data block and working with the host computer and PLC to complete automatic sampling positioning. After startup, the software automatically connects to the PLC and camera, automatically reconnects after disconnection and displays the connection status in real time. PLC-related parameters are centralized in password-protected background settings to prevent accidental modification on the production floor.

Main Technical Parameters

• PLC communication: Siemens S7 series PLC, TCP/IP connection; configurable IP address
• Automatic connection: automatically connects to the PLC after startup; if it fails, automatically reconnects every 5 seconds, and after a maximum of 3 retries prompts for manual connection
• Permission protection: PLC settings are located in the password-protected "Background Settings" (menu Settings → Background Settings / shortcut Ctrl+S)
• Camera: supports real-time preview of Hikvision industrial cameras for visual positioning display
• Status display: green = connected, orange = connection failed with retry count displayed, red = not connected
• Configuration persistence: PLC settings are saved to a configuration file; the software automatically loads them at startup and starts the coordinate sending timer
