Product Introduction
The MIT Folding Endurance Tester is used to determine the folding endurance of sheet materials such as paper, paperboard, plastic films, metal foils and FPC flexible boards under repeated folding. During testing, the specimen is clamped in the jaws at both ends of the folding head and repeatedly folded at a specified angle and frequency under constant tension (load) until the specimen breaks at the crease. The instrument automatically records the number of folds, which is the folding endurance of the specimen. The equipment references standards such as GB/T 457, GB/T 2679.5, ISO 5626 and ASTM D2176, and is a commonly used reliability test instrument in the fields of papermaking, packaging, electronics and quality inspection.
